Just call me the idiot who runs through a tornado warning. I wasn’t trying to prove a point or anything. I just needed to run. Besides I googled the tornado sighting tips before I headed out. Sure it was running and there were a few cracks of thunder but it wasn’t too bad.
Actually there were a few people on street who had no clue there was a warning. I know because I told them. One woman was pushing her stroller and holding the hand of a young child. She looked terrified when I told her to keep an eye on the clouds. Another woman took off running in the house when I mentioned the warning. Seems I was the barrier of “terrifying” news.
By the time I finished my 10k, the sky had cleared up.
I’m glad I went out. I was going to wait until tonight to run but it’s always nice to shake things up a bit now and then.
