I ran 10 miles for breakfast. What did you do?

I was determined to start my morning training. I only hit the snooze button on and off for 30 minutes. I was out running before 9 a.m. which is relatively good for me.
I am even more determined to be out for 7 a.m. in the coming months. This means I will have to get up at 5-5:15 a.m. to ensure I am fully awake.
This morning my legs felt like lead for the first 8k. I wasn’t fully warmed up and I needed to make a pit stop in the bushes to take care of business. The second 8k felt much better.
I ran from Kerry Wood again to Heritage Ranch, and back with a few diversions along the way – 16k or 10 miles.
I felt strong throughout after I woke up. I really ought to warm up more before I hit the trails. I’m sure it will make the first bit more pleasant. Going to resume my stretching/yoga tonight.
