Brace yourself. I am in love. The lucky bastard? A jar of Cashew Butter. I can’t remember the last time my tastebuds rejoiced so much. So here I am in the “feel good” aisle of Save-On foods with all the over priced organic foods. I am checking out the shiny jars when…. low and behold… our eyes met.
I tried to play it cool but the jar was no amateur. He knew I was hooked. He showed me all his best sides. I couldn’t resist. I quickly checked Cashew Butter from all angles. No extra ingredients that I can’t pronounce. Just cashews and sunflower oil. Perfect. And the price wasn’t too outlandish. Now I’ve had my way with Almond Butter but he was just too sweet for me. Cashew is just the right mix of nutty and sweet. Move over, Peanut Butter.
