I haven’t found a more permanent place to live yet. I am staying in the north end for a new months until I find out where I want to live. I am not picky. I want to be close to the downtown core and near some running trails. I hate the feeling of being boxed in by houses. I need open space.
I drove around another area today before my dinner date. I walked around the Bower Ponds. It’s a nice area. I’m off one day this week so I am going to run through that trail system.
I am glad I am taking my time figuring out where I want to settle. I hate moving around all the time. It’s bad karma. Or at least it feels like bad karma.
Laura Tester, one of my new colleagues, invited me over for dinner at her house tonight. That was very nice of her. Everyone here is making me feel so welcomed. Nice change.
My run this morning put me in the right frame of mind. I am always reminded of how great these long runs are for your soul. It may have taken me a good hour to get motivated but the run was well worth it. I am looking forward to my marathon training.
