I’m absolutely alone. I mean really alone in the office right now. I can hear myself think. That’s how quiet it is. As you know, it is Friday night. I am working for the weekend. Yay me!
Parker is hosting poker night for the boys in the office at his house. Apparently there’s one hard and fast rule – No girls. I think that rule was made with Paloma and myself in mind. That’s okay, guys. I don’t want to take your money away. I have enough as it just happens.
Anyway…. and so Ian is off to Vancouver tomorrow (it’s going to be a quiet week on this side of the office!). Nick is starring in the Jungle Book play tonight. Paloma is out chasing firefighters with Zandra. Diana is home with hubby, Fred. I have a sneak suspicion, they are doing laundry. Jeanne is probably reading this blog, right now…. Who else? Um… oh yes Darrell is probably watching the Oilers’ game and missing his fiance, who is at the Figure Skating thing in Saskatoon. Linda, our photo editor, is probably at home with her hubby too – doing laundry.
And I am where I should be- slaving away at the office…(I hope you’re reading this Diana….I am so dedicated!)
In case you were wondering…..
That’s Christopher, Damien and Paloma outside the newsroom. We were having chicken fights. I was carrying Christopher on my back. He was too slow for Paloma, as she knocked him off with one quick blow. Ahh…. Friday afternoons….
