I made it safely to Ottawa. In fact, my plane was a few minutes early which made Nick late in picking me up. We just spent the afternoon catching up and enjoying a few beers before Melissa got home from work. Bruce came over and we had dinner and some wine.

So far today Melissa and I drove out to Carleton Place to pick up her dress….gorgeous by the way. I did take a picture but I forgot to bring the chord to connect my little digital to the computer. I’ll have to take more shots with my Nikon.

I’m not sure what we’re doing tonight. We’re supposed to go to Chelsea but the weather is pretty gross – lots of rain. I hope to convince both Nick and Melissa to go for a short run if the weather clears up. Tomorrow we’ll have the rehearsal. All Melissa’s family is arriving then. After the rehearsal, we’re having dinner at Nick’s parents.
