I sit on the floor drinking a fine glass of red wine. I sit on the floor because it is much easier to multi-task. I am halfway between the kitchen – to refill my class- and right in front of the TV and laptop.

I’m caught up with my work as I finished my feature a few hours ago. I cracked open the wine, turned on the TV and spread all the newspapers around me which I haven’t had a chance to read since last week. It’s a good feeling to be caught up if you know what I mean.

Soon Grande Prairie will be a distant memory and I can not wait. Okay well only for a couple weeks but I can’t wait to hop on that plane and say goodbye to the west, if only for a couple weeks.

I’m glad all the crap with my car has been taken care of. Yes, it is another push for me to pay closer attention to the details – something I often, okay most of the time, could not be bothered with.

Anyway getting back to the wine. It’s a nice deep Australian wine full of flavour. Gosh I love red wine. It really puts things into perspective.
