Mentally I started writing my wedding toast today. Nicky and Melissa – I hope you are ready. I know Nick just warned me tonight that it should be short as to not bore people. Believe me, the guests will not be bored. I’ve got some entertaining tales to share.
I have to get my dress taken in because I look gaudy in it but I have time to fix that.

It was the first day of school across the land today. Like most people I always think of the first day of school as the end of summer. And with the crappy weather we had these last few days I couldn’t be more dead on. In fact yesterday, I treated myself to 12 new pair of socks, and a pair of sneakers. Just it is time to break out the colourful socks and sweaters. Unfortunately there isn’t much shopping to be had here in good ol’ Grande Prairie so all that VISA swiping will have to wait until when I am in Ottawa. I am scared to see what my credit card will be like come November! Early birthday and Christmas presents I come.
