everybody needs some mending, sometimes

This weekend I am going to hiberate in my apartment. I don’t want to see anyone. Which shouldn’t be too difficult since I know like 10 people in the city and most of whom, I work with. I need some “me” time.

I feel broken. My ribs are aching and my whole upper body is stiff. My tkd master put us through some challenging workouts this week. Great in the long run, not so great now. I have a long road ahead with my training. Being away from tkd for nearly a year has pushed me back to square one. I just hope my body remembers that it used to be in great shape.

Not to mention, it’s like minus 41C and that’s not fun. Since I bought my car, I’ve barely walked. My ipod is feeling neglected. She remembers the days when we used to walk for hours or until her battery died.

I hope it warms up this week so I can walk to work.
