Twice the batteries in my Ipod have drained while I was out exploring. Twice I have forgotten to cover my ears. I am determined not to let these little inconveniences deter me from enjoying my time.

I am taking my brother out tonight for his birthday. We’re going to see the Grand Prairie Storm junior hockey team at the Crystal Centre. I am excited to watch some Western hockey. Granted they are the Oilers but it will do.

My start date for my new job isn’t set in stone. One thing I do know is that I start after the new year. I am so excited about this new adventure that I am about to go on. I am not one hundred percent excited about living this far north but it won’t kill me. At least I hope it won’t.
