The Terry Fox Run has been ongoing in South Korea since 1991 to increase the awareness of cancer and to race funds for cancer research in Korea. Organized by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Korea and supported by the Canadian Embassy in Korea the non-competitive charity event is usually held in Seoul.
But this year the Run was held in Busan, so Lucy and I laced up our sneakers and joined the race. As you can see from my pictures there were more Koreans than foreigners running. The Canadian Ambassador to Korea, Marius Grinius, was also running.
