Overall the first class went fine. This school is supposed to be an English TKD school so it was a bit confusing for me. I am used to having the instructors give me orders in Korean. I’m even unsure of the English names for kicks and punches. As expected, I knew that it would be like starting at square one again. That’s what happens when you stop practicing for months. Within a few more classes though I’ll be all gung ho again in preparation for my higher belt test.
In my apartment building there’s an intercom system. The superintendent uses it for general announcements for the building. Actually, I have no idea what he says. For all I know he could be telling us what he ate for lunch. The first time I heard his voice I was frightened. Now whenever I hear it, like this morning at 7:30, I just ignore it.
