With all this free time on my hands, I decided to start a bookclub. It’s not exactly Oprah’s Bookclub, but it’s a start. Tonight we had our first meet and greet at Starbucks in Seomyeon. We had a good turnout: Eight other people besides myself showed.
After we browsed at the YoungKwan Bookstore, we chose to read One Years of Solitude by Gabriel GarcΓa MΓ‘rquez. As this book as been endorsed by Oprah herself, I think we have a winner for a first selection.
I’m going to see Miami Vice tonight at 11:20 p.m. When I bought my ticket, only two other people had bought tickets to the late showing. It’s going to be an empty theatre.
