Yes this morning, I woke to the sound of rain pounding down on my windows, and the wind whistling with force. Not to mention, there was a huge puddle of water on the floor that came from one of my “air-tight” windows.
Getting to work was a nightmare. I was drenched within seconds of leaving my apartment. Everywhere I looked, I saw people as wet as I was. It was kind of amusing actually to see all these businessmen clinging to their wind swept umbrellas, while trying to maintain some level of composure.
I think it took me two hours to completely dry off. All morning, the wind howled and the rain came down in buckets. I stayed at work for 11 straight hours without leaving the building. I didn’t want to venture out again in this horrid weather. Thankfully, the weather calmed down at about 4pm. But sources say that another typhoon is on the way this weekend.
