I am so sad tonight to write that we lost 3-1 in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final. I write we, because (for those of you who don’t know me), I have been an Oilers fan (rain or shine) for nearly twenty years, and now I feel like I have become a part of the time. Over the years the Oilers have sparked my glee, my cheers and just this morning, my tears. Yet my tears were both of sadness and joy. Obviously I am sadden that we lost but on the other hand I am happy because this is one more nail into keeping the Oilers in Edmonton, where they belong. I am just so happy at how well Rye Rye and the gang did this year. There’re such a young and exciting team, I am so proud to call myself one of their fans. Go Oilers! 2007 Stanley Cup Champions!
I’ve been back in Busan for roughly a week. Already I am exhausted from my workload. Jake had me working the very next day at 9 am. I was not amused. I thought I would at least have a day to get sorted. A week later, I am still not caught up.
