wednesday but in spanish you would say el miércoles

Boy, is it ever cold in Busan!! Overnight it suddenly became extremely cold. Needless to say, everyone has donned their warmer jackets and dug out their gloves. Winter is coming! Also over night, Busan has greatly increased the amount of police officers on duty in Seomyeon. Everywhere you look you are sure to get a glimpse of a yellow vest. I suppose their prescene is to make us feel safer. The officers are so young. Most of them are in their early twenties and they have little boy faces. They don’t even scare me.

I’m home now after finishing teaching for the day. But I have to go out shortly to catch the train to tkd. I really don’t want to go outside again but since I will miss tkd tomorrow and Friday, I have to go tonight.

At work, another teacher’s phone was stolen, and it happened around the same time that mine was pocketed. I wonder what is happening at Whilsire. Neil and I decided to keep our office door locked, although it wouldn’t be that difficult to pick the lock. We use a coin to open the door because we don’t have a key. Now I make sure I bring my purse to class with me.
