And now on to me. Yesterday I put my phone on my desk, like I always do and headed off to class. Forty-five minutes later I went back to my desk and no phone. I am so pissed off. Not so much that my phone was stolen but what it represents. Every phone number I know is on the phone. Of course I don’t have any of them memorized. So I can’t call anyone and no one can phone me. What a freakin piss off! I feel so isolated. So the question is whether I make the effort to pick up another phone since I only have three months left in Korea. But handphones are a way of life in Korea so I have to get another one and pronto.
On the upside, one good thing about having no phone is the ability to break off communication with undesirables. Now there’s the excuse of no longer having a certain military guy’s number.
