phantom of the opera in seoul

So I’m in Seoul. I got in yesterday about 3 pm. Andrew was already here so he met me at Seoul Station. Then we went to an art ex at the Comtemporary Art Museum. From there we went to Itaewon for Indian food. I didn’t like it as much as I did the last time I ate there. Buffets aren’t that great unless they are fresh and this buffet didn’t look fresh.

We went to Geckos for a few drinks. A rugby game was on. Australia vs. South Africa. The game wasn’t so bad. When we left it was 6-6. I wonder who won. Being at the bar was just like being back in Ottawa or Toronto. Tons of foreigners. I really liked it. The patrons were all shapes, sizes and colors. Oh yeah, and there were tons of hot looking US army guys. I didn’t feel much like drinking though so I went back to the hotel early.

Today we walked to COEX mall and I went shopping! I bought some accessories for my ipod and for my digicam. It was so much fun! I had the best bibimbap for lunch. It was called Sae Sak Bibimbap. It was wicked! Lots of sprouts and veggies!! YUM YUM!! The mall rocks! I really wanted to spend, spend, spend!! But I refrained myself!!

Then we went to see Phantom of the Opera in English at the Seoul Arts Centre!! It was an awesome show. The music was really good. We shared a box on the second level. The seats weren’t the most expensive but they weren’t the cheapest. I was happy to be able to see the expressions on the singers’ faces. After I went to see another art show. Actually I must say I really liked the Seoul Arts Centre. The building was really nice and I felt like I wasn´t in Korea at all.

Seoul is great.
