Five more days.
That’s all I could think when I put my sticker beside my name on the 30-day yoga challenge board. Time sure flew by but at the same time it did not.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the yoga but I am not a fan of how much time 30 days of consecutive yoga has eaten up my days. I feel like all I have been doing lately is sleep + work + yoga. I haven’t squeezed any runs in yet this week and it’s already Thursday. (I will make up for it this weekend.)
This has been my first experience with practicing yoga. So far, so good. The instructors are amazing and are truly on top of their game. Honestly at first I thought they were all high as a kite because they always seemed to be so chill. Now I know it’s one of the benefits of practicing yoga.
I plan to write an entire post on my 30-day experience (I’ve been taking notes) for the blog and for an upcoming column in the Advocate. But in the meantime I wanted to let you know, I am holding strong and determined to see the classes to the end.
Namaste.
Good for you! I do love yoga. But too much of anything is…too much. What will you do when the challenge is done?
