I haven’t been to a bike/spin class since I moved to Red Deer. All the classes at Pure are included in this three-month challenge so I’m advantage of trying new classes. Our class was only 50 minutes long but I found myself glancing at the clock every 10 minutes. It was that challenging.
We sprinted. We climbed. We one-legged. All that good stuff. Boy was I ever glad when it was over. (No pictures because I was too busy trying not to cry.) Gosh, I highly recommend a spin class if you haven’t tried one before. Challenging and oh so worth it. I just hope I can walk tomorrow!
I ran by the outdoor track yesterday to take a quick look. As you can see it’s not fit for intervals yet. Bummer. I’ll be running my 800s on a clear stretch of path this week. Knock on wood I find that clear stretch!
I’ve done spinning off and on throughout the years and just signed up for a weekly class. I’m only a couple weeks in so my butt still hurts each time but it is a great workout! What I like about it is that it’s one of the only exercises classes that actually makes me work as hard as running.
Oh yes .. my butt hurt like heck too!
LOVE spin!! It's such a great workout!
Thank God I've seen a spin class! That way I know not to! lol It's hard to believe that under all that snow and ice there are things such as running tracks, grass, trails and asphalt. We got another 10 cm. today and I almost can't throw the snow over the piles of snow already lining my driveway! Good luck finding that clear patch, Crystal!
I love spin classes and find that they pair with distance training really well! I feel like I sweat an absurd amount when spinning.
Spinning is hard. Believe it or not I taught it for a while… though at this point I'm not sure I could do it for more than 10 minutes, these legs are solely running legs right now! Hope your weather warms up soon!
