Call me a bad blogger. I’ve been so caught up with work this week that I haven’t had the slightest desire to look at another computer screen after hours. I’m behind on my posts and commenting on blogs. It’s been a little tougher than I thought to delve back into it after my short holiday.
But today felt good as I quietly continued with Day 21 of the #RWRunStreak. Teamwork paid off as Paul (my coworker) and I set out for a 5K run straight from the office. We ignored the -26C with the windchill as we ran over the snowy and icy trails.
We stopped at a beautifully decorated house on one street to take a few pictures. Unfortuntately the battery on my phone drained before I could take a decent photo. I couldn’t leave my gloves off for too long because it was way too cold.
Anyway … the streak is alive! I’ve been so distracted with the marathon and my brief holiday that I haven’t been posting about it. One mile is not a big stretch for me so I am not making a big deal about it. I love that so many people are doing a streak of their own and tweeting about it. Awesome stuff!
