Don’t you love it when something unexpected happens that makes you smile? Usually for me it has to do with running. For my short run, I decided to break out the Saucony. I haven’t worn them since last year. I love them.
There’s been a mix of snow and rain all day. It’s above zero so I wore matching knee length socks and shorts. Mother Nature would not get me down!
I gave myself 45 minutes for an easy breezy run. I’m tired of the trails near my place so I decided to stick to the roads. I found myself near one of the malls. That’s when the unexpected happened.
I found dirt trail.
Who knew that there was a short trail behind the mall? I sure as heck didn’t. The path isn’t very long – about 1 km – but it was such a unexpected find that I was thrilled. I ran the trail twice. There was a lot of ups and downs which I need right now.
