And now for the news.

When you buy a car, you assume the vehicle is your license for adventure – in a good way. In my case, my car has been nothing but trouble. Sure there has been adventure but it’s all unwanted drama.

Just yesterday, I locked myself out of my car with my car running. It was snowing. It was cold and I was not happy. Everything including my house keys were in my Versa. Fortunately it was early in the AM and I had my mobile withe me. Sigh!

Then today after a long board meeting an hour away from Grande Prairie, I got stuck on a country road in the middle of (you guessed it) nowhere. Luck was on my side again as the man responsible for clearing the roads came to my rescue.

I don’t make this stuff up. You’ll remember a few weeks back my car was impounded due to my ignorance of Alberta car registration. I don’t even want to recall the other incidents before this. Yes, there are many. And I have not had my car for a year yet.

Drama seems to follow me. Don’t get me wrong, I love my car. But sometimes I miss my subway riding and bus catching lifestyle in Ottawa and Busan.
