Hello friends.
It’s been so long since I blogged that I almost needed my password e-mailed to me.
So where have I been?
Let’s see today I completed the seventh day of my 30-day hot yoga challenge. It’s crazy but it keeps getting better every single day. Every class I hear something new or my body responds better to the postures. Alycia took a photo of me before class yesterday. It will be interesting to see if there’s any physical changes at the end of the 30 days.
Did you notice there are 3 rhino stickers next to my name? What I would like to know is where are the Star War stickers? So anyway the challenge is going well. The real challenge, as someone says, is getting to class. It is basically two hours of my day. Not a big deal but this past week was a little on the stressful side.
I made it to crossfit three times but …. I didn’t get any runs during the week. Not a great start to my half-marathon training, right? Anyway I am determined to get my butt out on the trail this coming week.
Today also marks my 10th day of #FullyRaw. Fully raw means I am not eating any food that is cooked about 115F โ fruits, green smoothies, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouts etc. (I did not give up coffee.) I promise it’s not boring. Why am I doing this, you ask? Well quite frankly I wanted to give my body a reboot of sorts. Plus I am tired of people telling me I look tired all the time.
I eat a lot of raw food anyway so it’s not a big stretch for me. However I have been getting crazy cravings for rice and tacos. I hope to last on this change until February.
What’s new in your world? Running lots?
Don’t feel bad about no runs. I’m supposed to be training for a marathon, right? And I’m not running. Yet. Soon.

Thanks ๐
I do yoga ‘occasionally’ though I bet there’s a ton of benefit to doing it daily. More power to you for sticking at it. Do you think it will become a regular thing after the month is up?

I hope so as long as my pocketbook agrees ๐ It’s not cheap!
So awesome about the yoga challenge. I’m struggling to find the time to get to yoga class, and after almost 6 months, any marginal flexibility I gained from my practice, I’ve lost and it’s going to hurt to go back! Running lots, yes.
I love your food pics!
