I’m so late to the protein party.
I am trying to make up for lost time by adding protein powder to my day. I’ve been drinking a shake after my workouts for about a month.
I haven’t taken protein powder in a very long time so I didn’t know what to expect. I bought the chocolate flavour. Tastes great. This brand packs a whooping 27 grams of protein per scoop. Hoorah! Not sure if it’s made a difference yet but I do feel slightly better after my WODs and runs.
My favourite post-run, post-wod recovery drink: 1 or 2 scoops of powder + almond milk + banana + a scoop of peanut butter.
