Grill is on: Barbecuing with Friends

Love the outdoor market season. This is one reason I eat plant-based diet – fresh garden vegetables. I took this for granted when I was growing up. Now I miss having a garden and living in a province known for its fruits and vegetables.


Brent and Sona purchased half a garden share from a farm in Markerville. Every Wednesday they get a fresh shipment of veggies. They always have so much left over before the next shipment. I am happy to help them clean out the refrigerator.

It’s a bit three’s company but I love spending time and eating with them. We made a great salad and barbecued our veg. So tasty!

I am so in love with barbecued potatoes right now. They are simply delicious.

  1. I make a killer veggie kabob and they're always my favourite part of family BBQs. Growing up, it was potatoes and onions in foil with butter and garlic. Mmmm. Fire and veggies = gooooood.
