Audrey is running two marathons this year. In my case, I decided to run the ultra and put all my eggs in one basket – Tucson Marathon in December. I hope I don’t regret this decision! I know the ultra training did my body good. Plus Crossfit has made me a stronger runner. I just need to get my head into the training game. Having a goal will whip me into shape! Only 6 months to go before Tuscon!

My this week has totally flown by. I’m back into the Crossfit rhythm. I’ve struggled getting out of bed but that fight only lasts for a few minutes. I’m happy to be back in the groove.
I’m nearing the end of my running detox/rest period. My foot seems to have healed well and I am itching to hit the trails again. Likely I will do a short get-to-know you run on Saturday and a longer one on Sunday.
But I have some time before I start amping up training. I have the Sundre Snake Hills trail run on July 20 and the half-marathon on July 21. Lots of time.
