On Eating well

I’m not one for labels. Lately every one is eating “clean” or “paleo” or whatever is cool right now. For the last 20 years I have considered myself a lacto-ovo vegetarian. In the last bit, however, I have re-branded myself into “eating a plant based diet.” I still eat veg nearly 98 per cent of the time. But if I feel like it I will have some fish. I wanted to shake up my diet. Don’t judge me.

I went to Sona’s for dinner (see above) and I borrowed one of her cookbooks. I am curious to see what The Eat Clean Diet is all about. I’m assuming it’s eating food close to its source and skipping the processed crap. Simple. Still it’s amazing how people are buying into this “fad.” It’s not new. I’m so tired of those people who act superior about their eating habits. Who cares? I don’t care if you don’t eat pigs, gluten, rice, pasta or bread. I don’t care. Don’t tell me. You will NEVER hear me preach my diet. NEVER.

Anyway, sorry for the short rant. I look forward to finding inspiration in this cookbook. Seriously my meals have been so dull and boring lately. I need to spice things up!
