Take time for yourself

This week I’ve had a few melt downs. My lower back was hurting which NEVER pains. I couldn’t sleep well. Everything felt out of control. I couldn’t figure out my trigger. And then it happened – my monthly. At work, no less. Ugh. Sometimes it sucks being a woman ๐Ÿ™‚ 
I went for a short & hard run straight from work. I was tired and cranky. The last thing I wanted to do was to go for a run. I wanted wine & my pillow. Easing the negative thoughts out of my head, I dressed  and headed out the door. It was a little chilly but I didn’t mind. That makes me run faster! Within a few minutes I found my groove.

Running always clears my head. Today I needed it. Happy Thursday.
