Top 10 snacks for runners

I know everyone has different tastes but I would love to share with you my favorite snacks. I don’t snack often because it messes with my meals. But when I do I like to go all out.


My Top 10 List of Snacks for Runners:

1. Apple and peanut butter

2. Green smoothie = water + green + fruit

3. Grapes

4. Homemade salsa and gluten-free tortilla chips

5. Hummus with pita chips or veggies

6. Fresh fruit like a banana or a mandarin

7.  Yam or sweet potato wedges

8. Chocolate. I know the “experts” say dark chocolate is the best nutrition wise but I love it all. Bring on the chocolate.

9. Homemade frozen yogurt/ice cream

10.  Popcorn
