Makeshift CrossFit WOD at home

Busy weekend! Yesterday I got in a short 6 km run before all the football action. The weather was perfect for a long run. I wish my feet were up for the challenge. My right ankle and foot was aching throughout. Happy I did it though. I need to get back into the running game. I miss it.

I work a night shift today. I always struggle with the 6 a.m. crossfit class because I have to work until 11 p.m. Usually I take a three-hour nap when I get home at 7 a.m. That usually keeps me going for the rest of the day.

I looked at the WOD last night online. I decided to do it at home instead. Basically the WOD consisted of 5 rounds of pushups and situps. I could do that at home. And it would not screw up my day.

Monday WOD (3 rounds):
15 KBS
10 Push ps
15 Sit ups

I also added some stretching and lacrosse ball rolling to my sore legs. I posted a question asking about kettlebell workouts on the CrossFit Influential Facebook page. The response was outstanding. I have so many movements to try out โ€“ goblet squat, snatch etc. I can’t wait. Fun!
