I couldn’t tell if the lights were on so I turned my car off and ran to the front. Lights off. I hopped back into my car and turned on the ignition. Only the key would not turn over. I panicked. I was alone in a dark empty parking lot. It wasn’t even 7 a.m. yet. I sat in my car shellshocked. What was I going to do? I thought what if nobody shows up for the morning WOD. Would I have to walk for help? Would I freeze to death in my car?
Yes all this is sheer over reaction but I am known to be dramatic. Thankfully Dave arrived before I went into hysterics and began calling everyone in my address book. I plugged it while I did my WOD and hoped for the best. That’s what I get for forgetting to plug my car in overnight!
Whew. The Versa started an hour later. I am so relieved. I am taking it in today to get the bumper fixed. I don’t think I could have handled another major car expense right now. Don’t you hate when these unexpected expenses pop up?
