Oh did I mention my ankle issue? Yesterday the coach diagnosed me with having tight ankles, particularly the left ankle. I’ve never heard of “tight ankles.” Have you? He said the lack of mobility will affect my ability to do a proper squat etc. I’m assuming the culprit is not stretching enough and the thousands of miles I run every year.
Good times. Another thing to worry about! Thankfully he showed me a few exercises to improve my mobility. I went home and Googled exercises too. Talk about information overload.
I planned my long run for this morning but I decided to rest my legs. Tonight’s CFE session will be a tough one. I’ll have to squeeze some extra mileage in some time this weekend. I hope the weather stays fine.
