Back in the day I was really into workout tapes. Cher and Billy Blank were favorites. I used to do the workout on the first floor of Tower when I was in university. Before university, I would do the tapes back to back to back in my bedroom.
So when Paula mentioned she owned a Billy Blank DVD, I asked to borrow it. This morning I finally got to work.
The routine wasn’t that complicated but I did mess up a bit with my footwork. My arms were a little sore but not as sore as I thought they would be from my workout yesterday.
I loved it. I will try to do the workout at least once a week. I wonder. Do people really lose weight or benefit from the workout? Yes, I did sweat and my heart was racing. I guess any kind of movement is better than nothing.
The tape also brought me back to my old boxing days with Adrian on Bank Street. I wonder if I could still tape my hands properly. Memories.
Now if I could get my hands on a copy of Cher’s DVD ….
I think Cher is back in 1987! hehehe.
