comfort food on a cold winter day

I’ve put down Steve Jobs. His biography by Walter Isaacson is a good read. I slept so well last night and my bed is so comfy, I could read all day. Alas there’s two football games to watch and some running to be done.

It would be wrong to stay in bed all day. Wouldn’t it? It was also -24 when I checked the weather a few hours ago. It’s warmed up to -19 but I am still not ready to go outside. Time to eat.

For lunch, I am whipping up a tasty tofu and crimini mushroom dish with quinoa. This one is going to be a winner. Just wait.

Sometime later .
I can’t remember using crimini mushrooms in my cooking. I love to eat shiitake, oyster, white, maitake and especially enonki mushrooms. They taste lovely. I’m definitely adding them to my grocery list. I made way too much food. I have to remember, I am not training for a marathon right now. But it’s all good food so I shouldn’t fret too much.

Okay the plate doesn’t look entirely appetizing but I assure you it was delicious. I used the antique filter on iPhoto. Crafty, eh?
