time crunch

The next few weeks will be a test. Because of work and other obligations, I will need to budget my time well.

The marathon is only 79 days away. Now’s the time to pick up my training. The last two weeks in October will not do anything for my race so really I only have nine solid weeks of training. Yikes!

I can’t afford to miss any workouts.

I keep saying I want to run in the mornings but that hasn’t worked out yet. Hopefully this weekend’s schedule isn’t too restrictive so I can run before work on Sunday. If not I will have to run again after work. Sigh.

I’ve been slowly cleaning up my diet. That means no more junk. As you know I eat pretty healthy already but I do suffer from skipping meals and eating way too much bread. (I love toast).

I am determined. That should be part of my new running mantra.
