Okay now that all the lame photos have been published, let’s chat.

It snowed the other day. And with it comes all the usual jokes and comments. “Time to change over winter tires,” “Better plug in the car,” and “Better get used to wearing the winter boots again.” Ho hum.

I am just excited about wearing winter clothing again. I am all about the sweaters. The danger though of wearing big, puffy sweaters all winter long is I tend to ignore my healthy eating habits. I mean I eat more of the good stuff in less moderation. Plus, all the festive drinking. What better way to disguise your winter bulge than an oversized weather?

Quite frankly I always love the change of seasons for a few days at least. I am not silly enough to say I love winter particularly here in Iceland. I survived January and February of last year. This will be my first full winter here in Grande Prairie. Wish me and my little Versa luck. No, I haven’t bought winter tires yet.
