Rideau St. has always been my friend. As dirty and grimy it may be, Ottawa’s main street remains full of character. Don’t get me wrong, I hate passing by all the losers near the McDonald’s who persistently beg for my hard earned coins. I just think the street offers a little more to the city so boringly belongs to the politicos.
Lovely Lisa offered her spare bedroom for me to crash while I was visiting. Unfortunately Lisa had to work but we did manage to have tons of fun while I was visiting. This pic is taken on the main shopping drag in Montreal.
Pei-ju, my enviro-friendly buddy and I went to the Heart and Crown one day for sweet potato fries. Sadly, the recipe was changed somewhat and the formerly delicious fries were demoted to wedges. We also tried the veggie nachos. Did I mention, most of my trip consisted of eating and more eating?
Lucy, my chingu from back in the day, and I got together and ate Korean food. Funny how it’s a tradition now! I miss Lucy. She looked fabulous by the way. And she’s single. But what a catch she would be: smart, gorgeous, a great job and tells somewhat funny jokes! Interested parties must live in Ottawa or Hull.
More Mo! More Mo! Okay so Mo and I have this deal. If I am not married by the time I am 40 (okay a few years to go!), she and I are going to Paris. Yup that’s the deal. I have to pay though so that’s incentive for me to start saving now. She’s here with her daughter and my niece Natayla.
Oh pshaw Jade, you're too flattering! I like this pic though – onto my facebook it goes! (you look great in Montreal, btw – I wish I could have gone!)
