You’re on my list of things to do

Anyway, it’s a proving to be weird to meet people here. I am not going out actively trying to meet people but if I did I imagine it would be. Work has kept me busy and that doesn’t leave much time for extracurricular stuff. Taekwondo is my only outlet. There’s a mix of people in my class but none that friendly.

I want to make some new friends here but it’s a little challenging when you’re out of highschool and don’t meet a lot of people in your age group. Moving to a new city is not all fun. Meeting both men and women have their own challenges.

You might ask someone of the opposite sex to hang out and he’ll probably think, “she wants me”. In my case, that is usually not want I am thinking. I am not bold enough to ask someone I like out like that. It’s just nice to hang out with guys sometimes or anyone for that matter. I remain a tomboy afterall.

Then how do I meet women? Most women my age, here for sure, are married and have their own stuff going on. Besides, it can be awkward saying to another female, hey let’s hang out..She might think I am hitting on her.
I am not depressed or anything. I am too positive for that but it would be nice to be able to pick up the phone and chat with a friend, in your own city!!!
