I was struck by the awesome mountains. I keep forgetting that seventy percent of Korea’s landscape is made up of mountains. It’s so easy to forget when you live in the city and most of the time all you see is concrete. While we were driving, I shared my thoughts that I would like just to go live on the top of the mountain for a year or so; just me and nature. I painted a lovely picture of me: one with nature and the friendly animals. I don’t think the girls shared my enthusiasm.
Anyway, back to reality. Geojedo is Korea’s second largest island. It’s home to a few shipyards but despite all its ruggedness, it’s quite lovely. We checked out a few pebble beaches and breathed in the fresh air. I loved it. Actually I would have liked to spend a few days there exploring and walking along the beaches.
After we got back to Busan we ate at Hello Thai in Haeundae followed by a few drinks at U2.
