What does “mannish elegance” mean? Look at this store’s sign. I had to take a second look when I walked by it in Oncheondong. “Mannish Elegance” didn’t appear to be open so I kept walking on my merry way.
After work on Saturday, John, Lucy and I, along with some of Fritz’s friends set out to see the play on Saturday night. Yet, when we got to the theatre we found out that who ever organized the event, over sold the tickets. As a result, three of us got refunds for our tickets, while the rest got to watch the play while standing for three hours. The three lucky ones went and had a drink at one of the numerous bars that line Gwangali beach. In a way, I was glad because I wanted to set out early the next day, which I did.
It was freaking cold but I managed to hike for a few hours on Geumjang mountain. My leg seems to have healed properly so I had no problems hiking up and down the mountain. Then last night I wanted a movie with a friend in Seomyeon. Not a very exciting weekend, but there’s only so much you can do when it’s so bloody cold.
