Apathetic, uncaring, aloof, indifferent, unmoving, and impassive are all adjectives I would use to describe my three hours of teaching this morning. That’s how enthusiastic my students and I were. It’s difficult to say who checked their watches more frequently. Time crawled and crawled. But now it’s over and I have an hour break before I teach six straight hours. Oh, the life of a Saturday teacher.
Praise the Lord for small things though. I found two teachers to work on Saturdays so December 9, will be my final Saturday.
Tonight Lucy is dragging to “Babo-Palooza” near Gwangali Beach. Written and performed by foreigners, this play should be peachy. Fritz and the rest of the OBS regulars make up the cast and crew. Interesting, it will be to see these people outside the bar environment.
To be honest, I am not in the mood to go out at all. I think Lucy knows this, and that’s why she gave me a ticket as a birhtday present. Hence, I have to go now but I refuse to make it a late night. Once the curtain lowers after the final curtain call, I am outta there.
