Hockey Morning in Busan

Hockey season is in full force. In my apartment, I have been running around all morning, in my Oilers jersey yelling go Rye Rye! I’m all set for another season of listening to hockey games on Internet radio. Apparently some Korean guy is going to show games at a nori bang near Dongnae. That sounds good but now I have to convince Lucy to go with me.

Lucky for me that the Western Conference games are played later. I don’t have to get up so early to listen to the Oilers play. I’ll miss most of the Sens and Leaf games but I can always listen to the postgames. Geoff is usually online so he usually tells me how bad Ottawa played.

Anyhow, the Oilers are 1 and 1 to start off the new season. They lost in Calgary this morning 2-1. They had a good first period, opening up the score. But in the second period, the Oilers lost all their momentum with four penalties in a row. In the last few minutes of play, they had some great chances but they just couldn’t put it in.
